CJ's Catering and Food Service provides food service management to public and private schools Pre K-12. Our daily goal is to serve your students healthy nutritious meals that they will truly enjoy. Greater student participation in school lunch programs is the result of our dedication to ensure high quality in our product. CJ's works with each school to satisfy students, families, faculty, and staff.


Each school has its own personality, and individuals have their own dietary needs. CJ's chefs welcome and embrace the daily challenge to please each and everyone of our valued customers.
 

  • Serving south eastern Michigan from Genesse County to Wayne County and the surrounding areas, allows CJ's to take a hands on approach to ensure quality.

  • CJ's employs a dedicated team of professionals that truly take pride in the work we do.

  • CJ's knowledgeable chefs and office personnel will work closely with your school to create meals that satisfy a diverse student and faculty population

  • 100% real fruit juice is available daily

  • Entrees are baked or grilled-never fried

  • Low fat dressings are used with salads

  • Low sodium seasonings are used to enhance flavor

  • Our menus include more fresh fruits and low sodium vegetables

  • Whole grain breads, rolls, and buns are used

  • CJ's menus are closely monitored by certified nutritionists so you can be sure your child is enjoying healthy delicious meals on a daily basis

     

*CJ's meals are in compliance with the USDA recommended daily allowance and for the national school lunch and breakfast program (NSLP, SBP)

Today, CJ's has expanded it's family to fit it's growing needs. Clyde and Jackie's son, Michael Moss, has joined the team and acts as the k-12 School Vending Program Specialist. Sandra Paquette is his right hand (wo)man, taking care of general office work as well as marketing and [anything else that needs to get done].

Check out CJ's Company Store on Facebook! In addition to school vending, CJ's is a full service deli open for Lunch 10 AM - 3 PM Monday through Staurday.

Child Safety

 

Many children have severe allergies that we pay close attention to. CJ's provides a special Food Allergy Menu that is specific to those allergens including Gluten, Wheat, Dairy, Egg, Soy, Peanut, Tree Nut, Fish, and Shellfish. 

 

Our program entails following a 5-Day Menu cycle. Each delivery will include 4-cycles (20 Days). To complete each meal (breakfast and lunch), a member of the foodservice staff will serve milk or a dairy free option to the student, along with fruit that will be on hand.

 

As a food service provider at your school, we want to reassure you that the safety and well-being of your child are of utmost importance to us. We hope that you find our Food Allergy Program reassuring that your child with food allergies will be taken care of.

 

 

* Please note, ingredients of the items in this meal system are free of gluten and the top 8 allergens but may be prepared in a facility that contains wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or shellfish or processed on equipment that once processed wheat, soy, dairy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or shellfish. Trace amounts of these allergens may be present.
